My name is Christopher delaMaison.

I have different personas for the different lives that I lead, allowing me to move between alternate realities, when the mood suits me to do so. I prefer fish over beef, white wine over red, and UNIX-based operating systems to Windows. Although I lead a rather conservative life (including a life membership in the Freemasons), I owe allegiance to no political party or organized church, and tend to think for myself.

When I am at an SCA event (Society for Creative Anachronism), I play a Scotsman, who has signed onto a Dutch merchant ship, called the La Puta del Diablo. I currently hold the rank of Midshipman, and have been appointed as the Ship's Seer. I do tarot card readings for the ship's crew, as well as for the public, and I play a doumbek drum for my belly dancer friends.

One of the main reasons I love playing a doumbek until the wee hours of the morning!

When I am at the November OryCon convention (Oregon Science Fiction Convention), I have a number of different outfits to wear and personas to play. Here are a few of my friends from OryCon25.
