My Home

This is my home. It is a large crate with padding and an astro-turf floor. There are two ceramic heat lamps to keep me warm, and a full-spectrum florescent light. The light is on a timer, so I get 16 hours of daylight and 8 hours of night (that is, if Christopher and Kathryn aren't watching TV late at night.)

An afternoon nap under the heat lamp. I'm on the right.

I have a small shelter to hide in and stuff to climb around on. I particularly like the onyx toys from Mexico. The item to the right is a turtle carved from a tree root that was brought back from Hawaii. Pretty cool stuff!!!

This is the guy that takes care of me. His name is Christopher. I've been with Christopher for just over 32 years now. I was about 10 years old, or so, when I was given to Christopher.

This is Kathryn. She lives in the same house as Christopher. Occasionally, she will let me out to run around the house. Kathryn always has interesting books and stuff in her room. They make great things to climb on. I also watch Kathryn do her yoga stuff. I didn't think people could bend like that!
